Welcome back to crazy little things! I hope everyone is doing ok and if you are not, well that is ok too because you don’t have to be ok all the time as you are only human. So I am back and ready to get back on the road with my blog. The last week or so has been hell and I am going to be having some stern words with my eye specialist about the medication that he has put me on. I was very open about my mental illness and the steroids that I have been put on do not mix well with mental illness and I wasn’t listened to and instead of making steps forward with my eyes, I have taken massive steps backward with my mental health.
Well, I have a little bit of news with for the blog though, I will be doing a series of posts about alternative therapy and the first post for that will be coming over the next few days about my experience at a rage room!
Well, today’s tip of the day is –
Don’t let life keep you down!
I have had to battle every dark and depressive thought over these past few days, from the ones that tell me I am not good enough to ones that tell me to hurt myself. The thing is the person that can hurt you the most is yourself, we know the just the right thing to say that can destroy us from the inside out. That same voice in our head that can destroy us is also the same voice that can lead us to the strength that lies within.
The power of the mind is undefinable and yes sometimes it can be our downfall with fun things like overthinking and depression but remember you have got through every dark day. Just because we have bad moments or bad days doesn’t mean we are not strong, it is the opposite actually. So remember warriors life is tough but so are you and your strength maybe be quiet but it is there, it is in every breath that you take, every beat of your heart and every tear that you shed.
