Christmas is not just for kids!

Hey everyone,

Welcome back to crazy little things! I hope everyone is doing ok and if you are not, well that is ok too because you don’t have to be ok all the time as you are only human. Life is a funny thing, sometimes you can feel like you are winning and sometimes you can feel like you are losing but is that what life is really about winning or losing? Are we always in competition with ourselves and others to the best at something, by doing this are we really blind to what life is about? When did it become about winning or losing instead of being happy and fulfilled? When did life turn into a competition?
These are the questions that can sometimes keep me up at night, whenever the path seems a bit bumpy I always assume I am losing at life and that isn’t healthy. The competition the world seems to be in is fucking crazy in my eyes and we seem to of took our eye off the bigger picture in what life can give us. Has the advancement in technology really been beneficial in all aspects of life or was it the beginning of the competition? Well, I don’t want to compete anymore I just want to live my life by my rules and not by the rules of this competition, to be bigger and better at everything. As I don’t need that fucking pressure, I would rather work towards to being happy.

So let’s move on to today’s blogmas post –

Christmas is not just for kids!

This is the time of year my inner child is freaking the fuck out until I remind her that we are adults now we won’t be getting toys this year, we will just be getting wrapping paper and hand cramp from writing so many Christmas cards. I can hear my inner child stomping her feet and telling me it is not fair.
You know what she has a point it’s not fair, just because we getting older doesn’t mean we are growing up! So you know what instead of a general mental health message this is a message to everyone. Christmas is not just for kids, fuck it if you want to play with some Lego then do it, who cares if you are an adult. I know a lot of the parents out their play with their children’s toys, yeah I see you. Christmas should be fun for everyone not just for kids and plus its even better for us we don’t have to pretend to be good to get a large man who comes once a year to get us a present we can just get it ourselves!
Take care,
Vixxy Rose
