Hey everyone,
Welcome back to crazy little things! I hope everyone is doing ok and if you are not, well that is ok too because you don’t have to be ok all the time as you are only human. I haven’t really done much today apart from popping to the shop to get milk; my butt has been firmly fixed to my sofa. I know it sounds lazy but a day like today has been necessary. I find it difficult to relax sometimes, just to zone out with my only concern being to let Netflix know I am still watching every now and then. I feel like my mind is always on high alert, even when I am reading a book and yeah I could have tried meditation to switch off but internal monologue is hard to mute. Do we need a wee? Do we want another cup of tea? Shall we go on Google and see how they make fake snow? Are you sure you don’t want another cup a tea? Those are a few of the magic nuggets my mind comes up with on a daily basis, fun right! So if you have a day just completely doing nothing don’t feel bad, we all need a day of switching off from the world and if it means you do it by watching TV or mediation there is no right way just your way.
Today’s blogmas day 7 post is –
Die Hard is a Christmas movie!
Have you noticed that there is 40% of people who love love LOVE Christmas and 40% of people who hate Christmas and 20% of people aren’t really bothered either way? The thing is, are any of those people wrong?
No, they are not, I don’t care what people think or feel about Christmas you could either be a 30 year old who secretly wishes Santa was real or someone who wishes Christmas didn’t exist, that is your choice you do you. Life is about choice and just because it is Christmas doesn’t mean we all have to fit into that little box of either being compared to the Grinch or a Christmas elf. As long as you are not trying to hurt anyone with your opinion who gives a fuck, I stand firmly on the side of Die Hard is a Christmas movie no one is going to change my mind not even Brice Willis. If this became a world where we accepted people for who they are then that would be a Christmas miracle to me!
Take care,
