Welcome back to crazy little things! I hope everyone is doing ok and if you are not, well that is ok too because you don’t have to be ok all the time as you are only human. Guess who has had to break up for Christmas early aka sign off sick? Yep, it’s me. I decided today because of the seriousness of this eye problem and the mental strain it is putting me under, the best way for me to be able to deal with it wholeheartedly was to sign off work. Also, my job is working with disabled adults and I need my eyes for two reasons in this type of work. Most of them are autistic and eye contact is so important in communication with them and because I have to keep sunglasses on inside I am putting a barrier between them and me. Also, there can be moments of violent outburst and if my vision is not 100 percent then it is not safe for them or me. That’s how today I came up with the sensible decision of going off sick. Don’t get me wrong I know it is the right decision but it hasn’t stopped the bitch of anxiety giving her 2 cents of telling me I am a failure. She can fuck off though as it takes a strong person to recognize that they need a break to concentrate on getting better.
So today’s blogmas day 6 post is –
Tis the season to spread Christmas cheer for all to hear!
This time of year can bring out the best and the worst on people. We find ourselves being overly generous to the people around us, which is great, spread the love. How about we spread the love further?
There are a lot of people at this time of year that would appreciate that kindness being sent their way. Whether it is checking in on someone who feels lonely this time of year or donating to charity. It can be so simple and so effective one tiny drop of kindness to remember the people who feel forgotten especially this time of year.
Let’s be real we all have experienced that feeling of loneliness and feeling like the world doesn’t see is and we have also experienced the kindness from others showing us that there are people out there who care. This is why I find it important, not only just at Christmas, spreading that kindness I have received myself from others. So lets spread Christmas cheer this year for ALL to hear!
