How is everyone doing? I hope you all are feeling ok and if you are not remember it is ok not to be ok. I am still in the middle of the storm, but I am feeling ok I know I will get through this. One of my problems is that some of the things and people who trigger me I cannot avoid. I just need to find a better way of handling those people and things but really not sure how yet?
Blogmas Day 17 is here, one of the things on this magical journey I have discovered is that I more than capable then I give myself credit for. I have more confidence in myself as a blogger, as my confidence grows I know this blog will :).
Blogmas has been an interesting and hard, but I have loved every moment of it so far. So let’s get on with the show…
Blogmas Day 17 – The tangled Christmas lights
I think we have all been there, getting the Christmas decorations from where we stored them for nearly year and no matter how nicely we put the Christmas lights away they are always tangled. One big ball of wires and lights with no clear beginning and ending. We can pull on one bit of wire and make it worse than pull on another bit and it comes less tangled, we never know until we try.
Sometimes we can get so annoyed and throw the big ball against the wall or even in the bin and go and buy some more.
Where I am going with this is, our recovery is like the ball of tangled lights, recovery is not easy and we are going to make wrong turns every now and then. We are going to want to give up and start again, what works for me may not work for you.
Untangling the Christmas lights takes patience and time, we can’t just pull on a wire and the whole thing is going to unravel. Trial and error are important to recovery we can learn from mistakes and grow from achievement.
Until tomorrow people!
Take care all
